Genie.ch, the collaborative platform dedicated to the promotion and creation of industrial ecology projects in the Canton of Geneva offers a range of accounts by company directors who share the desire to change the meaning of the word "success".

When he arrived at the head of Pocheco, a company that manufactures two million envelopes per year in the north of France, Emmanuel Druon wanted to conserve the raw material on which his business is totally dependent. Ensuring that suppliers manage forests ecologically (one tree cut down = 4 trees replanted) and taking the ecological footprint of buildings into consideration are some of the changes he has initiated with his employees

In his account published on Monday, January 25th, Romain Ferrari of the Serge Ferrari Group explains how the circular economy initiative in the group he co-directs has really improved the image of his company and how it has brought about a change in the relationship with suppliers and investors.

Inspirational stories for future entrepreneurs "working both individually and as part of their company to develop, beyond the purely economic field, companies’ responsibility and contribution to the overall progress of society."
