The roadmap dedicated to the circular economy, led by Brune Poirson, secretary of State to Nicolas Hulot, Minister of State, Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, was published on Monday, April 23, 2018.

On this occasion, ADEME reviews the results of its “Technical and economic study of the separate collection of bio-waste”. It shows the very positive impact of collecting bio-waste separately for the local authorities that set it up, in terms of reducing waste and improving the sorting process. To go further, ADEME has also updated its guide “How to successfully implement bio-waste sorting at source”, which gives local authorities the methods and the keys they need to take action.

ADEME is also publishing the 26 winners of the second call for projects “Objectif Recyclage PLASTiques” (ORPLAST). Open from mid-July to late November 2017, it aims to support the incorporation of recycled plastics in industrial production, as part of a philosophy in favour of the circular economy and the preservation of resources.
