Six accounts of industrial synergies implemented in the Porte de DrômArdèche inter-communal authority

The six inter-company synergies in this collection were implemented from 2016 to 2018 at the initiative of Porte de DrômArdèche, which had decided to focus on economic development based on inter-company cooperation and the efficiency of resources used.

In total, 100 companies were involved to find local, shared solutions for the recycling of their production waste and thereby improve their environmental impact.

These industrial synergies are the result of technical support for the feasibility study and implementation by iNex Circular, Ewam, the Porte de DrômArdèche inter-communal authority and Rhône-Médian.

By late 2018, 5 additional industrial synergies should be set up.

Synergies supported by:

Pierre Beuret – iNex Circular

Aurélie Trillat – CCPDA

Charlotte Blaise – Rhône-Médian

About Rhone-Median:

Grand-Projet Rhône-Médian is an initiative carried out by six local authorities in five departments (Rhône, Loire, Isère, Drôme, Ardèche). The ambition of this area is to stimulate innovative projects in energy transition, land use planning and redevelopment of industrial wasteland over a 5 year period. Its strategic areas are industrial and regional ecology and modal shift for goods. The Rhône-Median are has many assets: a multimodal connection to a European-scale transit route (national motorway and road, direct access to the Rhône and the railways), a strong economic potential with industrial sites of regional and metropolitan impact, recognized know-how and a qualified workforce in an industrial employment area.
