Discover CIRCLE IT, the decision-making assistance tool for your circular economy projects

Specially developed by CIRIDD with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, CIRCLE IT is a tool for questioning and analysing projects that are part of, or wish to be part of the circular economy.

It was launched during the ECLAIRA Network event on March 20 2018 in Clermont-Ferrand. It was also focussed on in the 10th ECLAIRA newsletter whose theme was: “Methods and tools for analysis and evaluation: what added value do these provide?”

Since circular economy projects require a lot of dialogue as part of long processes, CIRCLE IT is a support for facilitating, setting up projects and evaluating them. It allows project leaders to position themselves and analyse the value created by their project.

CIRCLE IT can be used:

  • By any type of project leader and organization (companies, communities, associations, public institutions, etc.), in relation with its stakeholders
  • For any type of circular economy project.
  • In any type of area.

CIRCLE IT aims to help project leaders define, design, develop, analyse and monitor their circular economy project over time.

It is a decision-making assistance tool that should be used as a tool for facilitating, thinking and creativity. It enables project leaders, together with their project team, to share a vision based around a circular economy project and to define it.

It also aims at “self-positioning” and qualifying the circular economy project for communication and capitalization purposes.

On the other hand, the tool was not designed to evaluate the projects themselves. Nor does it allow an analysis of the strategy of organizations or public policies.

To use CIRCLE IT you first need to set up an account on the ECLAIRA platform
